CHCPBC is in the process of public consultation on draft bylaws under the Health Professions and Occupations Act (HPOA). This consultation is open to all members of the public. The draft bylaws will be released for consultation in groups over a two-month period.
Update on the Canadian Dietetic Registration Examination review
CHCPBC has posted the following message on behalf of the Alliance of Canadian Dietetic Regulatory Bodies: The review of the May 2025 Canadian Dietetic Registration Exam (CDRE), and the exam development process is completed with no concerns identified. The next CDRE will be administered May 22-23, 2025.
NBEO Exam no longer accepted for optometry licensure in BC
Following a review by the CHCPBC Registration Committee, the College will no longer accept NBEO Exam results for the purpose of obtaining licensure to practise optometry in the province of British Columbia.
CHCPBC affirms commitment to reconciliation and decolonization through Coast Salish blanketing ceremony
The Board gathered for a Coast Salish blanketing ceremony to mark the formation of CHCPBC and to acknowledge its commitment to reconciliation and decolonization.
