The Ministry of Health has posted a regulation on the Professional Regulation page of its website confirming they have made a final decision about the name of this college.
The final name is the same as the one that was proposed for feedback: The College of Health and Care Professionals of BC.
With the final name, we can advance work to create the college’s brand identity and begin building public awareness of the new college in the coming months.

The next CDRE will be administered May 22-23, 2025.
The Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR) will launch a single licensure examination in 2026. The Canadian Physiotherapy Examination (CPTE) will replace the current two-exam model.
