Ethics and Practice Standards apply to all professions regulated by CHCPBC

Preparing draft bylaws for consultation in advance of the Health Professions and Occupations Act
We anticipate that the provincial government will bring the Health Professions and Occupations Act (HPOA) into force some time in 2025. The new legislation means BC’s health regulatory colleges must prepare bylaws that reflect the requirements of the HPOA. CHCPBC will post our draft bylaws for public consultation in the coming weeks.
Assisting registrants in an increasingly complex health care landscape
As the regulator for nine health professions, CHCPBC does not simply set requirements for practice: we also support our registrants in upholding them.
