CHCPBC regulates nine health professions in BC: audiology, dietetics, hearing instrument dispensing, occupational therapy, opticianry, optometry, physical therapy, psychology, and speech-language pathology. Registration with the College is required to practise in these professions in BC.

Canada Post strike

Canada Post workers, represented by Canadian Union of Postal Workers, have gone on a nationwide strike. CHCPBC strongly encourages applicants, registrants, and members of the public to use alternate options for sending material to the College during the strike:

• Send documents by email where possible.
• Drop off material at our Vancouver office.
• Use a courier or shipping service.
