For Applicants
For Applicants
CHCPBC regulates nine health professions in BC: audiology, dietetics, hearing instrument dispensing, occupational therapy, opticianry, optometry, physical therapy, psychology, and speech-language pathology. Registration with the College is required to practise in these professions in BC.
For information on how to apply to register in a profession regulated by CHCPBC, please click below on the relevant profession.
If you are an existing CHCPBC registrant and need information on the Professional and Quality Practice program, practice support, registration renewal, or other registrant-related matters, see For Registrants.
CHCPBC’s response time to questions and requests from applicants, licensees, and the public may be delayed. The College is implementing major system changes to licensee/applicant portals and the public registry, preparing for CHCPBC’s first harmonized registration renewal period, and implementing extensive regulatory changes to align with the Health Professions and Occupations Act that will go into effect on April 1, 2026. Thank you for your patience and respectful interaction with College staff.
