VFSS certifications repealed from bylaws
Changes are coming to Schedule 10, Certified Practice in the CHCPBC Bylaws to remove the need for certification for some videofluoroscopic swallow study certifications. When the bylaw amendments come into effect, speech-language pathologists can be involved in the provision of VFSS without regulatory limits or conditions as part of their scope of practice.
HPOA Licensee Webinar Series
CHCPBC will host the HPOA Licensee Webinar Series. Each session in the series will focus on a different aspect of the Health Professions and Occupations Act and what it means for licensees. Recordings of the sessions will be made available.
Opportunity to join the CHCPBC Registration Committee
CHCPBC’s Registration Committee includes both registrant members and public members. The College is recruiting for psychologist and school psychologist registrant members for this committee, with a view to ensure adequate diversity of perspectives, lived experience, and profession-specific expertise.
