CHCPBC is seeking feedback on an additional part of draft bylaws for the College under the Health Professions and Occupations Act (HPOA):

  • Delegation

This consultation is open to all members of the public. We ask that feedback be limited to comments on the draft bylaws and not include feedback on the HPOA.

For the bylaw part, a full version, an overview, and an online feedback form are available. Please submit your feedback via the online form by October 22, 2025.

Consultation is also continuing for two other draft bylaw parts:

  • Continuing Professional Development
  • Professional Responsibilities.

Consultations with Indigenous Governing Bodies, as are required under the HPOA, are being conducted separately and in addition to this public consultation process.

The BC Ministry of Health is amending the Regulated Health Practitioners Regulation to introduce access to over-the-counter hearing aids. These changes do not impact audiologist and hearing instrument practitioners’ scope of practice and restricted activities.

Opportunity to join two of CHCPBC’s regulatory committees

CHCPBC’s regulatory committees include both licensee members and members of the public. The College is currently seeking licensee members for two committees to ensure adequate diversity of perspectives, lived experience, and profession-specific expertise.
